The Journey
Visual Communication graduate, film-set problem solver, digital marketer, and — on weekends — still the guy who shows up for league cricket.
From screenwriting to spreadsheets, and back
I studied Visual Communication because I wanted to tell stories on screen, not just talk about them. That instinct never left — it just picked up a second language along the way. I have directed short films, contributed to a feature, and spent the last two years moving fluidly between a director's chair and a Google Ads dashboard.
That combination sounds unusual until you notice they are solving the same problem from two directions: a script earns someone's attention through story, a campaign earns it through data. I got curious about what happens when the same person is fluent in both.

Where the basketball comes in
Four years of state-level basketball and a run in Tamil Nadu League 1 cricket taught me most of what I know about composure before I ever set foot on a film set. Both worlds run on the same currency: read the situation fast, commit to a decision, live with it in front of an audience.
I write about psychology here for the same reason I chase it on a court — it is the thread connecting a bowler's wrist, a client's hesitation before approving a campaign, and a scene that only works if the pacing is right.

The path so far
B.Sc. Visual Communication, PSG College of Arts and Science
Where the storytelling instinct got formal training.
Localization Coordinator, Icons Technologies
Coordinated multilingual localization projects across cross-functional teams, keeping tone and quality consistent across languages.
Digital Marketing Intern, Capsley
Built landing pages for Nxt Skills in WordPress and Elementor, ran keyword research and competitor analysis, and got hands-on with on-page SEO.
Creative Director, On the House
Leading creative direction for promotional videos, films, and branded content — from script and concept through to delivery with production teams.
What I keep coming back to
Sports
Not just the score — the decisions inside the score.
Politics
How people get convinced, and why it works on them.
Movies
Pressure, slowed down and examined from the outside.
Psychology
The half-second before anyone commits to anything.
Marketing
Applied human behavior with a scoreboard attached.
A good script and a good campaign fail for the same reason: they forgot someone has to actually feel something before they act.
Where this is headed
- Keep directing work that earns attention honestly — no growth hack replaces a story that lands.
- Publish consistently across all five topics on this site, not just the easy ones.
- Get better at the specific skill of disagreeing well, in public, in writing.
